Lots of people have no time for proper breakfast - they just drink coffee, often with cookies or sweets, and then go to work.

While it's actually convenient, it's not exactly good or healthy for you.

Here are a few reasons why it's always better to have a proper breakfast than to eat sweet snacks in the morning.

Energy Crash

Sweets, like donuts or sugary cereals, can give you a quick energy boost, but it's often followed by a crash.

You might feel tired and sluggish later in the morning.

Hunger

Sugary foods can cause your blood sugar levels to spike and then drop rapidly.

This can make you feel hungry again soon after eating, leading to more snacking.

Nutrition

Sweets usually lack essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and fiber that your body needs to function well.

Starting your day with nutritionally empty foods isn't a healthy choice.

Dental Health

Sugary breakfasts can be harmful to your teeth.

The sugar can lead to tooth decay and cavities, and it's always easier to prevent them than to cure them.

Conclusion

While sugary snacks are the easiest to consume in the morning, they are clearly not the healthiest option.

Moreover, they will make you hungry again pretty soon, so it's easier to eat normal food instead.
