If your diet isn't diverse or balanced enough, then you might lack many nutrients without even knowing it.

For instance, if your body lacks magnesium, then your body will give you the signs that something goes wrong.

Let's find out more about the signs that you have to include more magnesium in your diet.

Muscle cramps

If you frequently experience muscle cramps, especially in your legs, it could be a sign of low magnesium levels.

These cramps may feel like sudden, painful muscle contractions.

Fatigue and weakness

Feeling tired and weak even after getting enough sleep and rest could indicate a magnesium deficiency.

It may make you feel low on energy and lacking strength.

Irregular heartbeat

Magnesium plays a role in maintaining a steady heart rhythm.

If you notice heart palpitations or irregular heartbeats, it could be a sign of insufficient magnesium in your diet.

Poor appetite

A lack of interest in eating or a reduced appetite may be a symptom of magnesium deficiency.

This can lead to inadequate intake of magnesium-rich foods.

Nausea and vomiting

Some people with low magnesium levels may experience feelings of nausea and may even vomit.

These symptoms can also be caused by various other factors, so it's important to consider them in combination with other signs.

Tingling or numbness

Magnesium deficiency can sometimes cause tingling or numbness in the hands, feet, or other parts of the body.

This sensation might feel like pins and needles or a loss of feeling.

Previously, we talked about almond benefits.
