After soaking, brush off any remaining plaque and rinse the watering can thoroughly in clean water.

Please note that if you leave the watering can in the solution for more than an hour, the aggressive substance may damage the coating.

You can also use baking soda to clean the watering can.

This product is a natural antibacterial cleaning solution.

For the most effective cleansing, add a small amount of water to baking soda until it forms a thick paste.

Clean the watering can with a sponge or brush.

How to get rid of plaque on a shower head using citric acid

To remove limescale from your shower head, use citric acid.

To do this, you need to dilute 100 g of citric acid in 0.5 liters of warm water.

Then spray the solution with a spray bottle onto the contaminated surfaces of the plumbing fixtures and leave for 30-60 minutes.

After this, you need to rinse the citric acid solution thoroughly and wipe the surface with a sponge or brush.

Don't leave plumbing fixtures in the solution for too long as this may ruin it.

You can also use lemon and salt to cleanse.

To do this, cut off a lemon slice and sprinkle with salt.

Then wipe the shower head with a lemon wedge from the side of the holes.

Then turn on the hot water for a few minutes.

This method will help if a layer of limescale has formed on the plumbing fixtures.
