If you love rearranging your garden regularly, then you should choose plants that can handle transplantations well.

While some gentle plants can be easily damaged, other plants can handle transplantations relatively well.

Here are a few examples of such resilient plants.

Herbs

Many herbs are known for their resilience and ease of transplantation.

Some common herbs that fall into this category include mint, chives, oregano, parsley, and sage.

These herbs typically have well-developed root systems that make them adaptable to new environments.

When transplanting herbs, select a new location with suitable soil and lighting conditions.

Dig a hole that is slightly larger than the herb's root ball.

Gently remove the herb from its original spot, taking care not to damage the roots.

Place the herb in the new hole, ensuring that the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Fill the hole with soil, firm it gently, and water thoroughly.

Hardy Flowers

Several types of flowers are considered hardy and can withstand transplantation with ease.

Examples include marigolds, zinnias, pansies, and petunias.

These flowers generally have robust root systems that enable them to adapt well to new locations.

Before transplanting, choose a suitable spot that provides the right amount of sunlight and well-draining soil.

Dig a hole that is slightly larger than the flower's root ball.

Carefully remove the flower from its original location, trying to preserve the root system as much as possible.

Place the flower in the new hole, ensuring that it sits at the same depth as it did before.

Fill the hole with soil, gently firm it around the plant, and water thoroughly to help the roots establish in their new home.
