What's the point of having a dog

Domestic dogs primarily bring positive emotions to their owners, but they also help them maintain good physical shape.

Regular walks, games and activities with pets help train the human cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and nervous systems

Dogs save you from loneliness and boredom.

Acting as an object of care, they allow a person to feel needed, and also occupy a person, preventing him from getting bored, being left alone with difficult thoughts and becoming despondent.

Portuguese scientists have found that using punishment as the main stimulus when training dogs has a negative impact on their stress levels: they behave more tensely, are less likely to show joy, and the level of cortisol in their saliva is higher after training sessions.

Who doesn't need a dog

For what reasons was the dog no longer needed: Change in living conditions, moving to a smaller apartment, rented housing, staying with relatives.

The owner of the property, your relative or the landlord is categorically against moving in with an animal.

If we summarize all this, it turns out that dogs are abandoned for two main reasons: insufficient theoretical and practical preparation for keeping a dog; irresponsible approach to the issue of choosing a pet.
