Cointail and brushstrife can be planted in a small pond, to a depth of 10 cm.

The composition of the soil can be anything, but clay soils are not suitable for the plant.

There is too little oxygen in them, and rainwater does not have time to reach the rhizome.

How to grow

To grow seedlings, take seeds from the refrigerator and sow them in a moist soil mixture with a high content of sand and peat, and be sure to cover it with glass.

Shoots will appear in 2 weeks. When they grow up they need to be picked.

Seedlings are planted in the ground at a distance of 50 cm only after hardening.

Loosestrife care

The plant needs moderate watering, abundant feeding and regular pruning.

To strengthen flowering, loosestrife needs to be fed regularly.

This can be done with special fertilizers for flower plants, following the instructions on the package.

Loosestrife, as a rule, is a very light-loving plant.

Do I need to prune loosestrife

Monetary loosestrife is a ground cover plant that creeps and grows over a large area.

It only needs to be trimmed and flat, and does not need to be trimmed frequently.

If some plants are taller or have residual flowers that have not fallen after flowering, they can be trimmed.
