"Margherita" is a pizza that many people adore.

The dish is suitable even for a holiday or a magnificent feast.

Pizza was invented over a century ago in Italy.

In addition to the traditional version, restaurants and cafes also offer original recipes for dough and toppings.

What do you need to make a Margarita

The recipe consists of inexpensive and simple products familiar to everyone. For the test use:

  • Flour;
  • Water;
  • Yeast;
  • Salt;
  • Sugar;
  • Olive oil.

First, you need to dissolve the yeast, add salt, sugar, olive oil and flour sifted through a sieve. The kneaded dough is left in the film for 30 minutes. Then they roll out with a thickness of 3 mm, bend the edges and make the sides. Topped with tomato paste and mozzarella. Spread fresh basil on the finished, cooled pizza.

If you replace at least one ingredient, the classic taste will not work. Choose products according to the original recipe. Be careful with the choice of cheese, mozzarella in the form of balls in brine is not suitable for cooking, it is too soft. Need a solid variety.

Taste of Margarita

The dish has a rich, bright aroma of tomato paste and basil. The dough is crispy, the filling is juicy. The taste of pizza is sweet and sour, creamy.

In the original, classic recipe, margaritas are drizzled with olive oil before serving. Perhaps, for a resident of Belarus, this is not quite usual. However, manipulation adds a special flavor to it.

The chef mixes the oil with herbs: rosemary and basil. The smell should be multi-component, interesting and rich.

Another important nuance is fresh green basil. The spice has a bright aroma, so one small sheet is enough for a slice of pizza. Otherwise, bright greens will interrupt the smell of other ingredients.
